The Thor company was founded in 1977. Its aims and business plans were mechanical machining in general on behalf of third parties and for outside work orders.The ability, ingenuity and determination of its partners, together with certain favourable market factors, have contributed over the years to radical changes in production and to making this firm the leader in its field in the whole of Europe today.

The sales staff has cleverly been able to take advantage of certain significant technical innovations, unique in their kind, patented all over Europe and in other continents. All this with a single, clear final aim: always to produce innovative and reliable machines and components for the uses that were the firm's aim right from the first design stage for each model.
