FIXING WOOD

Wood fixing device designed to significantly improve safety, control and operating comfort during the use of the log splitter. It is an exclusive THOR system, developed to simplify log centring operations and reduce manual intervention by the operator.

The goal of this innovation is to allow the log to be prepared for splitting without the need to hold it manually during the blade’s approach phase. In this way, both of the operator’s hands remain on the controls at all times, eliminating the need for additional assistance until the splitting phase is completed.

The result is achieved through a temporary fixing device that holds the log on the support base in a position correctly aligned with the blade during the approach phase. The system is designed to unlock automatically during the splitting phase, by releasing the spring upon contact with the blade, ensuring a smooth, safe and fully automated operation.

Fixing Wood represents an advanced technical solution that improves machine ergonomics and helps make wood processing safer, more controlled and more efficient.
