NOT REVERSE Winch
The exclusive THOR NOT REVERSE Winch system is designed to ensure maximum safety and control during winch operation, eliminating any possibility of operator handling errors.
The system’s main innovation lies in the drum’s ability to stop automatically when the cable is fully unwound or fully rewound.
Cable winding by the winch is allowed in only one direction of drum rotation, preventing any operating errors by the operator. Cable unwinding, i.e. releasing the cable from the drum, can only be carried out by pulling it manually, ensuring complete and safe control of the operation.
At the end of the rewinding process, the hydraulic control valve is automatically returned to the stop position, without the need for manual intervention on the control lever. This helps make the system intuitive, reliable and safe, even under intensive operating conditions.

Compatibility
The NOT REVERSE Winch can also be installed on THOR log splitters from previous versions as well as on log splitters not manufactured by us.
Important note: On Kombi models, the winch can only be installed if the machine is connected to the tractor’s three-point linkage.
