The THOR System-LEADER control allows mechanical control of the knife’s approach stroke, enabling the operator to centre the log while the blade is moving, with one or both hands free.

This technology makes it possible to position the wood under the blade at the desired point, easily adapting to logs of any shape and size: straight, crooked, large or small.

During the descent at normal speed, the blade is designed to stop instantly at the slightest contact with an obstacle, applying only minimal force. This ensures maximum safety and control during the centring operation.

Once the log has been correctly centred and stabilised in the desired position, the operator can simultaneously activate the two control levers to start the splitting phase, achieving a safe and highly controlled operation.

Designed for professional use, the system ensures consistent reliability even under extreme weather conditions. Heat, cold, sun, rain or snow do not affect its proper operation.

The control cannot be tampered with and has been developed to ensure maximum operational safety, reducing the risk of improper use while always maintaining full control of the machine.
